Although I am not originally from Louisiana, I have come to appreciate a few things about this state - in particular tubing on Lake Ponchartrain and the back bayous where I live and crawfish boils!  Trust me - don't make a face at eating mud bugs.  I felt the same way until I ate one and that was eat.  I typically eat 6 to 7 pounds of boiled crawfish at a single sitting.  That also includes boiled potato's, corn-on-the-cob, and sausage.   Next to summer, crawfish season is my favorite season.  To reflect my favorite Lousiana things, I tried to capture that 'happy place' on canvas using bronze, copper, gold, titan pale green, light turquoise, turquoise green, orange, fire opal, and white.  Wrecked ring pour technique using quality acrylic paints on a 20 x 20 inch gallery wrapped canvas finished with a protective coating.
